Aticco at BizBarcelona 2024: Inspiration, Networking and Much More

On October 23rd and 24th, the entrepreneurial community gathered at BizBarcelona, the annual fair that transforms the Fira de Barcelona into an epicenter of innovation and growth. As a main sponsor, Aticco had the pleasure of contributing not only a booth full of the essence of our coworking (yes, with a chill zone and even ping-pong!), but also a full agenda of talks and activities that left a mark on the attendees.
Our Stand: Much More than Workspace
At our stand, we brought the Aticco experience to BizBarcelona, recreating a miniature coworking space where visitors could get a close look at our culture. In addition to having workspaces and areas for informal meetings, we created an environment that invited relaxation and connection in a welcoming setting, reflecting the energy that characterizes our spaces in the city.
High Impact Talks: From AI to Successes and Failures
During BizBarcelona, Aticco offered a complete calendar of talks and workshops led by experts in various key areas for the growth and development of entrepreneurs and companies. Astrid Altadill took us to explore the world of TikTok and Branding, while Sebastián García delved into Market Differentiation to stand out in competitive environments. Beatriz Núñez and Candela Martín from Letslaw provided us with essential information on the Startups Law and how to protect entrepreneurial projects from the beginning.
Núria Martínez, our Events Manager at Aticco, shared her knowledge on Productivity Tools and how to optimize daily work, while Joaquín Guerrero captivated the audience with his session on Perfecting the Sales Pitch. Felipe Ojeda and Adrián Gallardo presented an inspiring Success Story with Refruiting, and Marta Quirós closed with a flourish by exploring Artificial Intelligence Applied to Marketing. Mariano Najles, from Las Muns, gave us an honest look at his entrepreneurial journey in a talk about Failure and Learning on the Road to Success.
For those who could not attend, here we share the most valuable insights from some of our featured talks:
TikTok and Branding for Bold Brands
Astrid Altadill taught us that on TikTok, the first challenge is to capture attention. For those who manage brands on this platform, Astrid recommended focusing on 2-3 content pillars that reflect the brand's values and personality. In addition, she suggested a constant trial and error approach to find what resonates best with the audience and not be afraid to repeat successful formulas, always providing a different angle. Her advice: the algorithm does not define success, but the consistency in connecting with the audience.
Productivity Tools for Day-to-Day
Nuria Martínez, Events Manager at Aticco, shared from her experience how tools like Trello, Slack, and Canva can improve productivity, both personally and as a team. Her main message was that the tool is only as effective as the habit of use we develop. From her role at Aticco, Nuria recommended trying various techniques until finding the one that best fits the workflow, but above all, being consistent in its application to really see results.
Success with Purpose: The Refruiting Case
Felipe Ojeda from Refruiting, along with Adrián Gallardo, COO of AticcoLab, showed us how a business can be profitable and, at the same time, generate a positive social impact. Their company not only supplies healthy fruits and snacks to offices but also employs people with disabilities, demonstrating that inclusion is compatible with success. Their key advice for entrepreneurs: measure success not only in financial terms (such as MRR) but also in the social and wellness impact you generate on your team and clients. In addition, we at Aticco enjoy this service with our team and offer it to clients, reinforcing our commitment to well-being.
Artificial Intelligence Applied to Marketing
Marta Quirós showed how artificial intelligence can be a great ally in marketing, teaching how to leverage tools like ChatGPT to improve the personalization and effectiveness of strategies. Her recommendation: when using AI, specify the context, the tone, and even the role you want it to assume (for example, "marketing director") to obtain more precise and useful responses. In addition, Marta suggested interacting with the AI in English and giving constant feedback to perfect the results. This approach helps entrepreneurs do more with less, especially when marketing resources are limited.
Networking in Action: Collaborating Companies
This year, our stand also hosted several collaborating companies that showcased their innovative solutions for SMEs. Entre Trámites, LexDoka, and Clasing were some of the companies that accompanied us, offering services and advice that helped attendees learn about new tools to boost their businesses.
Pitch Session: Real-Time Feedback
During BizBarcelona, we organized dynamic pitch sessions where startups and emerging companies presented their projects and received direct feedback from our mentors. On the first day, we had the participation of companies such as OncoWellness, Global Health Physical Conditioning, LexDoka, Techtiva, Burguera & Buza, and Inbuilt by Odoo, who shared their innovative proposals with an entrepreneurial audience. On the second day, projects from e-therapykids, Interactius, Premium Numbers, Letslaw, Metascan SL, Entre Trámites, Entreprelearners, Digital Tourist Gymkhana, and the Networking Club stood out.
These sessions offered an enriching space where startups could refine their pitches and receive guidance on how to better connect with potential clients and investors.
Looking Towards the Future
After two intense and enriching days, we closed BizBarcelona 2024 with the firm purpose of continuing to promote the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Barcelona. We thank everyone who joined us and we are already planning what will come next year. Who is ready for an even bigger and more inspiring BizBarcelona 2025?
If you missed it, see you at the next Aticco event! Until then, stay connected with us to stay up to date on all our activities.
