4 formulas to increase work productivity

Although it may not seem like it, work productivity says a lot about us. It goes hand in hand with individual productivity; this means that, the more productive we are at work, the more productive we will be in our personal lives.
But here is the question, how do we know if we are being productive in the workplace? Good. To do this, we must look at the results we are obtaining in our job. The first thing you need to know is that a person is not more productive for working 12 hours, quite the opposite. You are being productive if you do more in less time. As Mies van der Rohe once said: less is more.
Our job as an employee of a company is, among other things, to meet the objectives of the company. On the other hand (and this should always be the case), it is very important that the company is aware of possible internal problems that may affect its workers. After all, without them there is no company that can sustain itself, right?
While it is true that each person works in their own way (whether or not it is the best way, of course), there are some formulas that allow us all to increase work productivity and that we are able to carry out these tricks day after day until they become a habit.
1. Duration of the working day
Full-time, part-time, split shift... there are different employment contracts with a total maximum of 40 hours a week. Each company sets the schedule and it is possible that some days exceed 10 hours a day. With what purpose? A priori, it may seem that in this way employees give more of themselves and do more work. This is not the case, because it is when we are tired that we are much less productive.
2. Accumulation of different tasks
What is known as multitasking is a real threat to the employee. Certainly, it is impossible or very difficult to perform many different tasks at the same time, since our ability to concentrate decreases. The result, therefore, will be poor in difference to performing a single task.
3. The order of the tasks to be performed
You arrive at your workstation, organize your tasks for the day, and think: I'll leave the most complex one for the end. Error! It is more convenient to set aside the simple tasks and perform the one that will take the most time first. Take advantage of the energy with which you start your day to finish the most complicated and costly thing.
4. Positive attitude
Of course, it is much easier to be advised and follow guidelines, but you also have to do your part. The work always has to be done with a proactive attitude and, of course, a positive one. We have to give our best to trust that we will achieve the objectives that we set daily in the professional field. You don't have to be obsessed with doing your homework against the clock. Remember that everything always turns out better slowly and carefully.
Although there are many habits that you can apply to your day to day, we believe that the base should start from these four. The main thing for your productivity at work to be a success is that you dedicate yourself to what you like the most. Once you manage to unite tastes and employment, everything else will come naturally.
Of course, the environment you surround yourself with and carry out your tasks in is very, very important. As we have said many times, it is a plus to interact with other people in the workplace. These relationships will help your motivation and make the routine of going to work much better.
