South Summit 2025: The ecosystem meets and Aticco couldn't miss it!

A stand with impact (and aim)

From the very first moment, stand 108 became a meeting point. There we welcomed entrepreneurs, investors, curious onlookers and acquaintances of the company. Some of them came with their aim trained: they wanted to try their luck on our target. The prize? Two free months of coworking in Madrid. The consolation prize? A Day Passwhich is not bad either.

But the important thing was not to hit the target, but what happened between shots: conversations, laughter, discoveries and a great desire to keep in touch.

We also had the pleasure of having Miwicoworkers in Madrid and regular partners of our events. They were present throughout the fair, sharing their products and energy both at the booth and at the party.

The Place Goes South: the after-party that has become a tradition

We knew that after an intense day at the fair, the body was asking for a different kind of networking. Something more relaxed, with less pitch and more toasts. So we organized what we do best: an after party.

More than 400 people filled the space with live music, DJ, something tasty to eat, beer in hand and many conversations that started as "hello" and ended as future projects. An authentic, relaxed and very Aticco atmosphere.

During the evening, there was also room for content: Adrian Escabias presented an exclusive presentation of a new investment opportunity from Funding Placewith Mariano Najles Mariano NajlesCEO of Las Munsone of those startups that do things with purpose (and with empanadas, which always adds up).

What we take away

South Summit 2025 left us with more than just contacts and cards: it reminded us of the value of being present, of unhurried sharing and of creating spaces where connections come naturally.

And none of this would have been possible without those who make it happen:
Thanks to Aktion Legal Partnersfor joining us as main partner in this edition, and to Tbig Finance y Zubi Groupfor joining us with strength and vision.
Thanks also to all the people who stopped by our booth, came to play, took a Miwi, had a conversation, or just came by to say hello.

See you next time.
And if you were left wanting more, you know where to find us.

Success Stories: HelloFresh and the perfect recipe for scaling up

What is HelloFresh?

HelloFresh is a meal delivery service that delivers easy-to-follow recipes and fresh, well-measured, ready-to-cook ingredients. Convenience, taste and efficiency, all in one box. And behind that proposition is a clear mission.

"We are launching HelloFresh in 2022 and our mission is to change the way people eat for good.", Arnaud tells us.

The ideal space for an expanding team

Like any ambitious startup, HelloFresh needed more than an office: they were looking for an environment that would grow with them and help them maintain their essence. "I remember when we were looking for office space, we needed a space that was inspiring, flexible and fostered collaboration... and Aticco had all of that."

And when the space adapts to your rhythms, everything flows better. At Aticco, HelloFresh has found an office an office customized to their needsthat has evolved with them without friction.

"Aticco has been instrumental in our expansion. As we scale, we need more space, and Aticco allowed us to grow and move offices very easily, without major distractions."

One detail we love: the product team has a kitchen within a two-minute walk from the office. a two-minute walk from the office.. "It's crucial because it's part of what we offer to our clients", says Arnaud. That closeness between idea and action is part of what makes HelloFresh work so well ... and it couldn't happen without a flexible, well-thought-out environment.

The power of simplifying people's lives

"One of the keys to HelloFresh's success is that we offer convenient solutions for families who don't have time, neither to think of new recipes, nor to plan grocery shopping, nor to go grocery shopping."

And it's not just about launching a product and that's it. Active listening is part of the process: "We use a lot of customer feedback, and that helps us to constantly improve the product.."

An office that is lived in, not just used

Beyond the physical space, for HelloFresh, the energy you breathe matters too. "Aticco s environment fosters creativity, teamwork, collaboration... there are plenty of events, amenities and networking opportunities that make it a great place to be. The team really enjoys coming to the office."

Simply put, it's a place where people want to be. And when an office feels like yours - because you can tailor it to your size, your routines and your culture - it becomes a driver, not a hindrance.

What's next: more flavor, more customization

"We want to be the preferred choice for Spanish consumers. We want to change the way people eat in this country. And to achieve that, we're certainly going to continue to offer more convenience and more product customization."

And at Aticco, we are happy to be accompanying companies that, like HelloFresh, are cooking the future in their own way... in offices made to measure.

Investing is not just putting money in: it is building the future.

In 2015 I started investing in startups. I have founded five companies -one sold, two closed, two active- and I have invested in more than 50 startups, both personally and through the investment vehicles I co-lead.
I've learned - with hard work, and also with joy - that the best investment is not always in Excel, but in people, timing and vision.

Today, from Aticco and Funding Place, I accompany entrepreneurs who are building the future, and I help more people to be part of that journey: beautiful, convoluted... and full of meaning.

Why is now a good time to invest in startups?

The last two years have been a reality check. Gone is the party of exorbitant valuations and unsubstantiated FOMO-deals. And that's a good thing.
Now there is more criteria, more questions, more focus on execution. And on selling.

And yet, innovation does not stop. In fact, it has intensified with AI.

What are we (down-to-earth investors) looking for?

In every project we look for what does not fit in a PowerPoint:

  • Founders dedicated full time, with experience in their sector.
  • Scalable and capital efficient business models.
  • First real traction indicators.
  • A clear vision... and a plan to carry it out.

And above all: people. Because in the end, startups are driven by people with commitment, ethics and resilience.

Investment is no longer just a matter of the few

Until recently, investing in startups was a privilege reserved for funds and high net worth individuals. Today, with platforms like Funding Place, you can start with just €2,000 and co-invest in real opportunities, validated by a committee that has managed more than €150 million in investments.

And you don't just put money in: you join a community that connects investors, founders and professionals from different sectors and industries.

To invest is to commit

At Aticco , we don't just look for economic return. We are looking for impact. That's why:

  • We help projects prepare for growth.
  • We support entrepreneurs.
  • We create spaces - face-to-face and digital - for connections to happen.

I have been building in the startup world for 10 years. It hasn't always been easy. But it has been very worthwhile.
Because when you invest with head and heart, you're not just looking for profitability.
You're looking to be part of something that makes sense to you.

I don't know if we will make history.
But we will have a good time.

Are you in?

With that vision in mind, the choice of Aticco was almost natural. "One of the things we liked most was the capacity and flexibility they could give us to grow, should things go well," recalls Nacho. And so it has been: the space has grown with them, adapting to each stage of their evolution.

From 25 to 100: a real growth story

What started with 25 people in a single space has grown to nearly 100 active positions today. almost 100 active positions today. As the team grew, their office in Aticco transformed with them.. "Aticco has provided us with comfort, amenities and flexibility to be able to grow and generate this success story," says Nacho.

It wasn't just about square footage, it was about designing an environment that responded to their way of working. to design an environment that would respond to the way they work: dynamic, collaborative and focuseddynamic, collaborative and focused on the employee experience. A tailor-made officewithout having to take care of the operational management.

Keys to success: team, strategy and resilience

Cobee's growth has not been accidental. Nacho sums it up in three factors:

  • A high performance team ("A players", as he calls them).
  • A strategic and executing leadership, with the founders highly involved.
  • Responsible financial management, with sound business plans even in difficult times.

They have overcome everything from pandemics to multiplying the business plan, including the recent sale of a company. All without losing focus: delivering a flawless experience to their users.

Looking to the future: technology, impact and next steps

Today, Cobee continues to grow. The alliance with Pluxeea leading group in its sector, will allow them to bring their technology to new markets in a more agile and strategic way.. And they do so without losing their essence. Nacho defines the alliance as "a totally strategic union" that allows them to that allows them to scale their technology more quickly in new markets.

And Nacho's next challenge? A new entrepreneurial adventure... also starting at Aticco. Nacho returns to bet on the space that accompanied his first steps. As he himself says, he does it "because in the end I like to feel at home and I like to support Spanish projects".

Types of leadership and their impact on business success

From Aticco, where every day we live with professionals, startups and large companies that lead the transformation of work, we know that leadership is one of the keys that define the direction and culture of any organization. In an environment of shared offices and coworkings like ours, where collaboration and innovation are the daily bread, observing and understanding the different types of leadership has become an essential tool to grow, adapt and evolve.

What is leadership and why is it key in a company?

Leadership is a person's ability to influence, motivate and guide others towards a common goal. It is not only about directing, but also about inspiring. In a flexible work ecosystem like Aticco's, where autonomy, agility and creativity are core values, the leader's role is amplified: he or she not only leads, but empowers, connects and transforms.

Good leadership has a direct impact on the work environment, productivity and innovation capacity of a team. Therefore, knowing the different leadership styles can make the difference between a demotivated group and an aligned, proactive and forward-looking team.

Main types of leadership and their characteristics

There are different kinds of leadership that adapt to specific contexts, personalities and objectives. Below, we explore the most prominent ones:

1. Autocratic leadership

This style is based on centralized decision making. The leader controls all aspects and rarely consults the team. It is useful in times of crisis or when speed and precision are required, but can limit the group's creativity.

2. Democratic leadership

Also called participative, this type of leadership promotes collaboration. The leader listens to the opinions of his team before making decisions. Ideal for creative environments and innovative companies that value collective intelligence.

3. Transformational leadership

Focuses on inspiring the team through a vision for the future. These leaders are change agents who motivate, challenge and drive individual and group growth. It is common in startups and growing companies.

4. Laissez-faire leadership

Leaves great freedom to employees. It is effective with mature, autonomous and highly competent teams. However, it can fail if there is no adequate follow-up.

5. Leadership coaching

This style focuses on the personal and professional development of team members. The leader acts as a mentor and encourages continuous learning, an increasingly popular practice in environments such as Aticco, where training and networking are part of everyday life.

How to choose the right leadership style for your team

The key is context. There is no single ideal type of business leadership. What is important is to assess the needs of the team, the stage of the project, the culture of the organization and the long-term goals. A startup in a growth phase may benefit from transformational leadership, while a technical team may require a more democratic or coaching approach.

In addition, it is essential for the leader to be flexible and able to adapt to the different situations that arise. In our workplaces, we have seen how the leaders who adapt best are those who understand that leading is also about listening and learning continuously.

At Aticco, we believe that leadership is a skill that is cultivated. And our coworking spaces and shared offices are designed precisely to foster that kind of development. Here, ideas intersect, synergies are activated and the leaders of today and tomorrow find the ideal place to become their best version.

Frequently asked questions about types of leadership

It depends on the context, but the most valued styles in collaborative environments today are transformational leadership, democratic leadership and coaching. These encourage innovation, participation and continuous growth.

Occupational health: how to improve well-being in the work environment

At Aticco, we believe that the ideal work environment not only drives productivity, but also prioritizes people's well-being. In a world where flexible models, shared offices and hybrid work are all the rage, workplace occupational health becomes a fundamental pillar for the success of any modern company. But what does this concept really mean and how can we apply it in practice?

What is occupational health and why is it important?

Occupational health refers to the set of practices, measures and conditions that seek to protect and improve the physical, mental and social state of people in their professional environment. This comprehensive approach goes beyond accident prevention: it focuses on creating a corporate culture that favors the occupational well-being in all its dimensions.

Investing in occupational health and safety not only improves the quality of life of teams, but also reduces absenteeism, increases engagement and fosters a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Main occupational hazards and how to prevent them

Although occupational hazards may vary by industry, some common risk factors include:

  • Inadequate postures and prolonged use of screens
  • Chronic stress and excessive mental workload
  • Poorly ventilated or poorly lit environments
  • Lack of active breaks or movement

To prevent these risks, it is essential to implement safety protocols, train teams and adapt workspaces to the real needs of people.

Strategies to improve physical and mental health at work

An effective occupational health strategy must be holistic and constant. Some recommendations that we apply in Aticco 's spaces and that can be adapted to any company are:

  • Encourage active breaks and physical activity with access to common areas or organized activities.
  • Facilitate access to mental health resources such as coaching or mindfulness sessions.
  • Promote flexible schedules and open internal communication
  • Promote wellness events such as workshops on nutrition, mobility or emotional management.

These practices not only improve team health, but also consolidate a people-centered work culture.

The importance of ergonomics and healthy office design

At Aticco we know that design directly influences the work experience. That is why our coworking spaces and offices are designed under ergonomic principles, natural light, adequate ventilation and rest areas.

A well thought-out environment can reduce physical discomfort, prevent postural injuries and increase user satisfaction. Incorporating ergonomic furniture, adjustable chairs, height-adjustable tables and relaxation areas is essential for building healthy offices.

How to foster a corporate culture based on well-being

Organizational culture plays a key role in occupational health. Companies that prioritize wellness from the management level generate more committed, creative and sustainable teams over time.

Some key actions to achieve this include:

  • Actively listen to employees
  • Regular measurement of the work environment
  • Recognize individual and collective achievements
  • Integrate continuous training and personal development programs

At Aticco, we believe that wellness is not a trend, but a necessity. And that's why we create spaces that inspire, connect and adapt to the lifestyles of innovative people and companies.
