2024 has been a year of unprecedented milestones and growth for Aticco. We closed the year with 14 coworking spaces distributed between Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia, exceeding 60,000m² of managed surface area and consolidating ourselves as the second largest coworking operator in Spain.

This impressive growth has been made possible thanks to an investment investment round of almost 10 million euros10 million, which enabled the company to open five new spaces: Aticco Príncipe de Vergara and Aticco Castellana in Madrid, Aticco Monumental and Aticco Catedral in Barcelona, and Aticco Colón in Valencia. The Aticco Catedral and Aticco Colón spaces are already operational, while the rest will open their doors during the first half of 2025.

Aticco Castellana: innovation and community in the financial heart of Madrid

Before the end of the year, Aticco has announced the opening of a new coworking space in the heart of Madrid's financial district, on Paseo de la Castellana, nº. 268. This space of more than 6,000m² will offer a flexible and dynamic environment with premium services such as a gym, restaurant, parking, terraces, auditorium, event spaces and meeting rooms with natural light.

The operation has been possible thanks to the collaboration with Savills Aguirre Newman, one of the leading real estate advisory firms globally.

In addition, Aticco Castellana will become the headquarters of Madrid Health Hub (MHH), a reference space for innovation in digital health, designed to connect companies, startups, and professionals in the sector in the Spanish capital. MHH's mission is to promote innovation, facilitate its transfer to the hospital environment, and consolidate Madrid as a key hub for digital health. Currently, the hub already has more than 500 members, a base driven by the leadership of Barcelona Health Hub (BHH), founded in 2018 in the Catalan capital. About fifty companies that are currently part of the Barcelona hub have headquarters in Madrid, including Vodafone, Siemens Healthineers, Dedalus, Generali, Allianz, Sanitas, AstraZeneca, Docline, Arcano, Globalfinanz, BStartup (Banco Sabadell), and Erni Consulting.

Barcelona Finance Hub: a benchmark in the financial sector

Another of the year's great achievements has been the launch of the Barcelona Finance Hub, a coworking space specializing in the financial and technological ecosystem, which aims to consolidate Barcelona as a global reference center in the field of financial innovation.

Commitment to sustainability and well-being

Aticco continues to bet on a responsible business model committed to the well-being of its community. In 2024, the company has implemented 100% renewable energy in all its spaces and has obtained sustainability certifications in several of its locations. In addition, it has installed charging points for electric cars, reaffirming its commitment to sustainable mobility.

The well-being of the community has been another priority, with the introduction of personalized wellness packs that include sports, wellness, and physiotherapy classes. In addition, the Aticco Catedral space has opened an auditorium that has become the largest event space for the brand, hosting more than 150 training, networking, and community activities throughout the year. The company has also invested in improving air quality in its spaces through advanced purification systems, reflecting its commitment to a healthy and safe environment for its coworkers.

Looking to 2025: new spaces and more community

The coming year looks even more ambitious for Aticco, with the goal of reaching 100,000m² of managed spaces nationally and internationally. Madrid, Málaga, and Lisbon are the focus of expansion, along with strengthening the presence in Barcelona and Valencia.

In addition, Aticco will continue strengthening its network of startups and freelancers through acceleration programs, access to investment, and networking events through AticcoLab. The coliving division, Aticco Living, will also continue to grow, offering flexible shared housing solutions for companies that need to relocate staff to other cities.

To further promote flexibility, coworkers will be able to access all Aticco spaces in Barcelona, Madrid, and Valencia through the Mobility Program, facilitating a borderless work environment.

With a 2025 full of new projects, Aticco reaffirms its commitment to innovation, sustainability and the creation of vibrant communities. The journey continues and promises to be even more exciting! Are you ready to be part of this growing community? Discover your ideal space with Aticco!
