The digitization of industry is in full swing, and what is known as the Internet of Things (IoT) is a fundamental part of business development; it enables companies to remain competitive in the future by being part of this innovative ecosystem.

Last week, the IoT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC) was also held in Barcelona, where agroup of 350 startups presented solutions—based on artificial intelligence, IoT, and blockchain, among other technologies—for the industrial digital transformation we are currently experiencing. More than 300 speakers discussed the current state of the ecosystem and the future challenges it faces.

IoT Startups

More and more companies are getting involved in the Internet of Things, which is the future of technology. Below, we’ll take a look at some of the startups making waves in IoT:

Karamba Security focuses on identifying security challenges in connected vehicles. In this way, they prevent vehicles from being hacked.

Barcelona, the Technology Hub of the Future

As we mentioned in a previous post, Barcelona was establishing itself as one of the leading cities with a major technology hub. It is the fifth-largest city in Europe and the top city in Spain in terms of the number of tech startups.

That is why—and because it is a city with an entrepreneurial spirit—it is helping us position ourselves as one of the countries that most attracts talent from other European cities who want to be part of this innovative ecosystem.

At Aticco, we are seeing the results of these connections within our innovative, entrepreneurial, and creative ecosystem, where we share with our community our experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm for building a future together, as we strive to become one of Europe’s most important technology hubs.
