What a coworking must have

When we look for a rental apartment we go with a checklist of what we want it to have. Normal, because it depends on it whether we are comfortable or not. The same happens when we look for a workspace. It is also a space where you will spend a considerable amount of time during the week and that is why you should have a checklist of what a coworking space should have.

Community

When working in a coworking, at any time you have the opportunity to meet another entrepreneur or another company with whom to make synergies. But if, in addition, your coworking is responsible for preparing activities and dynamics for community members to share and connect with each other, the chances of success increase.  To be part of a talent pool will allow you to create business opportunities, exchange experiences and improve your networking. Natural light

Natural light in the workspace is key to avoiding ailments such as eyestrain or even stress. It has been proven that working in daylight increases productivityThe good mood and well-being at work. Make sure that your coworking has enough windows and exterior openings. But it is also important that they are open spaces where light can pass through. White walls will also improve the clarity of the space and allow natural light to reflect better.

Concentration

In addition to natural light, it is important that you have a space where you can concentrate 100% and realize your ideas. The coworking space you choose has to be designed to enhance productivity and this means it has to be spacious and comfortable. For this, it must be equipped with phone booths from where you can make your calls without disturbing the rest of coworkers; and with meeting rooms to meet your customers in privacy, even if you opt for teleworking. 

Terrace or patio

And it is just as important to connect as it is to disconnect. Therefore, coworking spaces should include areas prepared for relaxation. In winter, perhaps a space with sofas and games is enough, but at other times of the year you will take advantage of a good terrace or patio. Nature

According to a study carried out by Sir Cary Cooper, Professor of Organizational Psychology and Health at Lancaster University, the worker well-being increases by up to 15% when their workplace recreates natural environments..
