City traffic and pollution levels have led many people to opt for other more sustainable transport alternatives, but until some time ago only a few had access to them.
However, with the rise of mobility companies and the arrival of sharing, the range of possibilities has opened up. From car rentals on carsharing platforms like Ubeeqo, to electric motorcycles, or bicycles. These startups are conquering the most important cities.
Coinciding with the European Mobility Week, we wanted to review the startups that are working in this field. They all have in common high growth, a commitment to innovation and the goal of reducing pollution produced by traditional means of transport.
Startups committed to the environment
Apart from the numerous platforms and applications, startups have entered the game that have been created to develop innovative and sustainable cars. Such as, Ecoche, a company from Extremadura that contributes to the energy transformation, also betting on the circular economy. Founded by José Mendoza Milara and Mario Fernández Núñez, they are responsible for transforming gasoline vehicles into electric ones, extending the average life of the car by 10 years.
This is also the case of Ozone Drive, a startup that is committed to sustainability and offers electric vehicles in tourist areas of the Mediterranean.
Sustainability on two wheels
The world of electric motorcycles and electric bicycles is playing a very important role in large cities, they are silent, agile, and sustainable. Within this sector we have Acciona, Scutum, Moma Bikes, Skuty, RayVolt, Bibóo or Ebike 75.
Electric scooters have not been left behind either, and citizens are increasingly betting on this means of transport. For example, companies like SmartGypro or RayCool, specialize in them. This type of transport allows you to cross cities in an agile and sustainable way.
At Aticco we are also committed to sustainable transport, offering our coworkers the option of using electric scooters free of charge so they can travel easily and sustainably to meetings with clients or suppliers.
