A leader in Barcelona, Aticco has exceeded all growth expectations. The largest coworking space in Barcelona has begun its expansion in Madrid and now has a total of 30,980 m2 between the two cities. The first center will open in July at María de Molina 39.

Aticco has today signed the agreement to acquire its first center in Madrid, on María de Molina street 39. With the acquisition of these offices, which have 2,262 m2, the company becomes one of the most important players in the flexible spaces sector in Spain, with a total available area of 30,980m2. This operation was successfully closed thanks to the advice of the consultant Bello & Gambarte Real Estate, which has accompanied Aticco throughout the process.

The Spanish shared space group has chosen Madrid to establish its presence in the capital and continue growing in the 'coworking' models. Aticco offers personalized and private spaces for companies looking to grow in an innovative and technological environment. The success of its business model lies in its professional spaces, its strong community, and the brand's purpose: its transformative ecosystem.

With this new acquisition, Aticco will have an offer of seven locations, 6 in the city of Barcelona and one in the capital.

Thus, Aticco now has its seventh location, landing in one of the leading cities for this type of business.

Aticco's seventh location: María de Molina 39

The company's new space will be named «Aticco María de Molina». After opening 6 buildings in the Catalan capital in strategic locations, the opening in María de Molina is due to the growing trend of work ecosystems that are committed to this idea. Madrid is an opportunity, and Aticco's growth will also be from the capital.

In three years, Aticco has cultivated a community of more than 3,500 members, including corporates, startups, freelancers, and other companies, in Barcelona alone.

The new center will have space for 300 people, between the coworking area and the private offices. In accordance with the coworking philosophy, the common and meeting areas will be located in the heart of Aticco María de Molina to promote a culture of collaboration among coworkers. It will also have an area reserved for the events that it organizes weekly and a large terrace, something essential in all Aticco spaces. The opening of Aticco María de Molina will take place in mid-June.

The space is located in the heart of Madrid's Salamanca district, an area with a strong presence of large companies, business schools, and diplomatic delegations. The new center is just a few meters from the Avenida de América interchange, an area with a wide range of commercial and gastronomic offerings.

The Aticco community continues to grow, diversifying more and more among entrepreneurs, early-stage startups, high-growth startups and large companies, who are committed to entering a flexible space to modernize and retain talent, offering greater benefits to their teams. More and more company profiles are relying on these workspaces to develop their projects, whatever their structure.

2020, a year of challenges and expansion at Aticco

Aticco aims to establish itself in Madrid as a key player in the entrepreneurship and startup ecosystem that is strongly developing in the Spanish capital. For this reason, the company is committed to continuing its growth in the city during 2020, and will soon add new locations in Madrid.

After closing 2019 with very good results, tripling its square meters compared to 2018 and exceeding revenue forecasts by one million euros, the flexible space startup continues its unstoppable expansion to other cities in Spain and Europe. To accelerate the process, a possible capital increase during this 2020 is not ruled out.
