Startup Talks: More quality, more networking, more connections
At Aticco, we are always focused on providing a learning and connecting environment. This year, our Startup Talks have not only had high quality speakers, but we have also raised the level of networking by filling event after event one of the most emblematic terraces of Poblenou. In addition, Aticco Bailén has been crowned as one of the centers with more round tables. The most talked about topics have been employee experience and human resources, sales, artificial intelligence and startup ecosystem with companies such as Revolut, Portaventura, The Brandguard, Payfit, Factorial or Google. Aticco Talks: Knowledge does not take up space
Diversity and quality have been the driving forces behind our Aticco Talks in 2024, with a range of topics that satisfy the Aticco community. In case you are new here, every week we offer trainings and workshops of all kinds, because there are different colors, and if today I can learn about storytelling and tomorrow about investment rounds, all the better. And yes, at Aticco we have a very broad and diverse community and to make it happy we have to diversify the content. But on the other hand, year after year we are more and more surprised by how very different profiles come together in very specific talks, both to improve their skills and to learn something new. On October 23rd and 24th, BizBarcelona turned the Fira de Barcelona into the center of innovation for entrepreneurs. As main sponsor, Aticco was present with a stand that reflects our essence: from a chill out area to a ping-pong table, creating a perfect environment to connect and generate synergies. During the two days, we organized talks and activities to inspire startups and growing companies, addressing key topics of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. BizBarcelona reaffirmed our role as a reference in coworking and our commitment to Barcelona's innovative community.
4YFN
This year we did not miss 4YFN either, where we offered mentoring to international startups to enter the Spanish market with the help of the AticcoLab mentoring network. We also did an interview with Oriol de Pablo, CEO of VICIO to tell us about his success story and previous not (so) successful ones. Within the framework of the fair, we organized a networking event at Aticco Bogatell where we could get out of the Fira de Barcelona and connect in a more relaxed atmosphere, with live music, views and good people. Aticco has a long history at the Smart City Expo World Congress, participating with workshops, its own stand or, as we did in the last edition, organizing a pitch competition for startups committed to sustainability within the framework of Tomorrow Building. We selected six international startups with innovative solutions for the green and digital transformation of the buildings of the future.South Summit (Madrid)
In Madrid we can't miss it either. The South Summit is one of the most important networking events for the ecosystem held in Madrid. In addition to participating in the fair with our own stand, we took advantage of the terrace at Aticco María de Molina to gather more than 350 attendees in an environment of collaboration and festivity.
Valencia Digital Summit
With our expansion in Valencia and the opening of Aticco Colón, we could not miss the opportunity to present ourselves at the Valencia Digital Summit. The week started with a networking event in our new space, where we were able to connect with the local community thanks to our partners Aktion Legal Partners, Letslaw and Mahou San Miguel. We debuted in a big way by organizing two round tables at our stand to talk about venture capital and the innovation ecosystem in Valencia. This first step in Valencia reaffirmed the commitment of Aticco with the ecosystem of the city and its new commitment to a strategic location.
Startups and investment in the spotlight
In addition to all the trade fairs in which we have participated, the team of AticcoLab and Aticco Ventures, our startup accelerator and networking community, has been present at key events such as the Ibiza Tech Forum, Startup Olé in Salamanca and Waykup in Murcia. In each of them, we have had the opportunity to connect with investors, discover new startups with great potential and strengthen our relationships in the Spanish innovation ecosystem. These meetings not only allow us to identify emerging talent and disruptive projects, but also to create synergies and open new doors for future collaborations. It is no longer news, but this year Aticco has inaugurated the Barcelona Finance Hub by Aticco, a connecting space for companies, organizations and individuals in the financial innovation sector. Its purpose goes beyond work spaces and meeting points. The BFH has started with an unstoppable agenda of weekly events dedicated to enrich the ecosystem with trainings on the finance of the present and the future.
